How Can I get Involved?

Friends of Gilpin County Community Center welcomes any applicant who is interested in helping at events and activities of FGCCC and the Gilpin County Community Center. All volunteer time is needed and appreciated. We can’t do it without YOU!

Complete the following Volunteer Application, or print an application to fill out and return to FGCCC:  Volunteer Application

    Volunteers will be recognized on the FGCCC website and at our annual meeting or other recognition events. All applicants will receive the FGCCC e-newsletter and receive advance notice of volunteer opportunities. Please identify any 2025 events that are of special interest to you and put the dates on your calendar:

    September 6 – Wined Up 5k FGCCC fundraiser: help with prizes, staff water stations, set up wine and snacks.October 24 – Spooky Stroll: Manage a Halloween game, give out candy on spooky trail, make hot drinks at FGCCC booth.November 29, Turkey Trot: Help with check-in, staff water station and snack area.December 13 & 14 – Winter Arts Festival: Prepare hot drinks at FGCCC booth.2026 - Spring Clean Up Day: External grounds clean up at the Community Center. pull and cut weeds, pick up trash, clean playground equipment.2026, Fishing Clinic: Serve food, get sponsors for food and prizes.2026– Gilpin County Fair: put out signs, parking attendant, keep grounds tidy, monitor fabric arts entries, general help (some heavy lifting).
