The May Wined-up 5K went really well. We had over 40 hardy runners and walkers out there on the trail. The center has posted the winners list here. The winner of the 12 and under group was Jack Bingham, appearing in this image with FGC3 member Karen Eye. Many thanks to all who partcipated!
Our next activity is the annual cleanup around the Center. We’ve got a sign-up sheet here and encourage you all to come and help prettify the areas around the Center, including ballfields and trail. We will be serving free snacks and drinks to keep you energized and hydrated!
On June 11th, we’re hosting an awards celebration and open meeting, starting with a charcuterie and dessert bar at the Community Center. It all starts at 6 p.m. and we’ll be honoring a number of volunteers who have contributed their time and effort to Friends activities and coaching activities at the Center. It’s free to attend, so plan to come and honor your friends, family, and neighbors who give generously of their time.

We also want to thank Eric Douglas for his service as a board member. He is stepping down on June 1st and we will be inducting a new board member in soon after.
