Hey folks! On May 9th, we’re serving drinks and major encouragement at the popular 5K Wined-up run/walk at the Gilpin County Community Center. Everyone’s invited to participate. Why?
1) It’s fun! Go at your own pace. Come with a friend, walk with your dog, bring the young’uns who like to run!
2) Good exercise. 5k is really only 3 miles (3 times around the outdoor trail at the
community center). We know you can do it!
3) Prizes for fastest runners in each age category, PLUS a prize drawing for all
participants.
4) Free goblet and wine for adults. Water and non-alcoholic beverages also
available.
5) Registration is only $25, and proceeds go to support Friends of Gilpin County
Community Center. We use these proceeds to help our various activity sponsorships and Heart Fund recipients throughout the year.
6) Stay to enjoy the Health Fair, also at the Community Center. Watch demonstrations of exercise classes to choose one that is right for you.
